We are proud to present “HKFO2015: Requiem for a Dream” – as we welcome the legendary conductor Vassily Sinaisky, former Chief Conductor and Music Director of the Bolshoi Theatre and Conductor Emeritus of the BBC Philharmonic, to take the baton leading HKFO and HKFV into two nights of music surrounding the theme of death. Maestro Sinaisky will share the stage also with Hong Kong’s home-grown international cellist Trey Lee and celebrated tenor Dominique Moralez, as we explore the abstract narrative of tragedies, the hopeless pursuits of ambition, and ultimately, death.
